The Year of the Dragon

We are entering the year of the water dragon. I think this new year will be a good one. I can feel it. Are you a water sign? Haha. It's a good year for the aquatic ones, apparently. Anyway, hope you all have a swell weekend planned. Go out with your friends or your family and be merry! Be safe! See you in 2012.

I'm Waiting for the Day

1. Me. 2. The Sunlight. 3. My brother, Dylan. 4. My father. 5. Tree boy (my brother.)

The days get shorter and shorter. We've had a beautiful lengthy autumn, and I'm starting to think that maybe by some miracle winter won't come. Today the sun shines, there are birds in the trees singing songs and I'm happy to be alone. I've noticed recently that in my dreams I'm always floating in the sky looking down at things from above.

The soul becomes dyed with the color of it's thoughts.

These are some self portraits I took last week sometime on some Kodak film that expired in 2003. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I went to visit my dad and my brother for Thanksgiving, which was really nice. It was lovely to be with some people I haven't seen in a long time. Lot's of laughing, cheap wine, and reminiscing about old times with old friends.
